“Tablets are one of the most rapidly adopted consumer technologies in history,” notes comScore’s Senior Vice President of Mobile, Mark Donovan. Currently, nearly one in four smart phone owners also uses a tablet device, according to the latest data released by comScore.
This is especially true for real estate researchers on Homes.com. Now, traffic to Homes.com is shifting to tablet users in 2012.
Combined, tablet and mobile users are responsible for 35% of the total monthly page views (as seen on Homes.com during the weekends). However, tablet usage grew by 463% year over year in unique visitors, much more than the 298% increase with mobile unique users. In addition, there are currently 6% more monthly page views and 9% more searches from a tablet device than mobile.
