Homes.com Adds Nine Direct MLS Feeds
Consumers visiting Homes.com will see more accurate listing information

NORFOLK, Va. (July 26, 2013) – Homes.com, the online real estate resource and leading provider of enterprise-level solutions for real estate professionals and brokerages, has added nine direct MLS feeds with over 135,000 listings to its website.  The display agreement provides Homes.com with data from the following MLS organizations:  Houston Association of REALTORSÒ, California Regional MLS, MetroList Services (Sacramento area), Southland Regional Association of REALTORS (San Fernando Valley, CA), BAREIS (North San Francisco counties), MLSListings (Monterey to Silicon Valley), Intermountain MLS (Boise, Idaho), MLS Property Information Network (New England), and Midwest Real Estate Data (greater Chicago area).

The MLS agreements will provide more listing data on Homes.com, while improving the accuracy and generating higher quality leads for the more than 200,000 agents and brokers from participating MLSs.

Greg Manship, CEO of Intermountain MLS, noted that this improved accuracy was a driving factor in starting a relationship with Homes.com. “Intermountain MLS has started a direct relationship with Homes.com to help ensure listings from our area are timely and accurate,” said Manship.  “This will give the consumers a better home buying experience which in turn will help drive business to our brokers and agents.”

Specifics of the MLS agreements include:

  • More timely and accurate listing data.  Data feeds are updated at least four times daily.
  • Exclusive branding and clear attribution for the listing agent and broker on listing detail pages.  Homes.com will not display competing advertising from other real estate professionals to consumers.
  • Branding to the MLS as the source provider of the listing data. Consumers recognize the best source for real estate data is the local MLS.
  • Lead conversion tools that include: Lead & Contact Manager, Email Campaigns, Task Manager and Calendar, Homes.com MyHomes Profile with Question & Answer Access, and the Homes.com Facebook Listing App.
